CODAworx Launches YouTube Channel Spotlighting Public Art and the Creators Behind It

Written by Toni Sikes | Feb 18, 2026 3:23:21 AM

CODAworx, the global platform dedicated to advancing public art, is proud to announce the launch of the CODAworx YouTube Channel, a new destination for discovering powerful, inspiring, and behind-the-scenes videos from the international CODAworx community.

The curated channel presents selected videos from the CODAworx Project Library, which displays over 20,000 commissioned art projects from around the world. The selected videos celebrate public art and the creative professionals who bring it to life — including commissioners, fabricators, technologists, and the artists CODAworx proudly calls its “magic makers.” From concept sketches to large-scale installations, the CODAworx YouTube Channel offers viewers a front-row seat to the stories, processes, and people shaping public space around the world.

“We believe deeply in the power of creativity to transform places and connect communities,” said CODAworx Founder and CEO Toni Sikes. “This channel is about more than showcasing finished works — it’s about revealing how artists dream, design, and build, and how public art strengthens civic identity and shared experience.”

Through cinematic project features, artist spotlights, and documentation of installations in real-world environments, the channel allows audiences to experience artworks where they live — in airports, city centers, campuses, cultural districts, and landscapes across the globe. Each video invites viewers to explore how public art sparks engagement, encourages dialogue, and fosters community pride.

The CODAworx YouTube Channel also serves as a platform for members of the CODAworx community to extend the reach of their work, connect with new audiences, and contribute to a global conversation about creativity in the public realm.

Visitors can expect:

  • Inspiring artist and team spotlights (“Meet the Maker”)
  • Behind-the-scenes looks at fabrication and installation (“Behind the Build”)
  • Stories of placemaking and public engagement (“Spaces & Settings”)
  • Videos featuring CODAaward winners and presentations from CODAsummit

The CODAworx YouTube Channel is now live and will continue to expand with new videos from public art projects around the world. To explore the channel and subscribe, visit CODAworx on YouTube and follow CODAworx across social platforms for updates and featured releases.
