CODAworx Set To Reveal First Artists for LG Gallery+
CODAworx and LG Electronics are opening new doors for artists. Through the LG Gallery+ streaming service—set to be highlighted at CODAsummit in Washington, D.C.—millions of viewers worldwide will encounter public art in a new digital format in homes and public spaces worldwide. The new LG service joins a long list of marketing tools provided by CODAworx that showcase the work of our Pro and Premium subscribers, bringing artists unprecedented visibility and new revenue opportunities.
CODAworx will be releasing the names of the initial 45 artists whose images and videos are debuting on the LG Gallery+ Streaming Service, which launched this summer. LG Gallery+ refers to LG’s innovative approach that transforms its OLED TVs into elegant digital art platforms, offering both design aesthetics and immersive viewing experiences.
Curated by CODAworx and LG Electronics, the images and videos represent the wide variety of outstanding public art projects created by Pro and Premium members of CODAworx. The list includes well-known sculptors such as Blessing Hancock and Hou de Sousa and leading experiential artists working with data, such as Susan Narduli and Ferdi Alici. Zolty is represented by BREAKFAST’s largest kinetic sculpture in the world, and MacArthur Fellow Elizabeth Turk’s videos of immersive arts events.
The 241 CODAworx images and videos of public art in the LG Gallery+ will provide information on the artist and the project, as well as a link back to their projects on the CODAworx website. This streaming service is currently available on 3 million screens and will be installed on 30 million screens by the end of the year, meaning the artwork and the artists will receive unprecedented global exposure.
