That spirit of connection and celebration is at the heart of CODAsummit 2025, taking place this September in Washington, D.C. Across three days, the Summit will bring together artists, technologists, commissioners, and cultural leaders to exchange ideas and forge new collaborations. Two signature events—the Opening Celebration and the CODAawards Ceremony—will serve as anchor moments, offering spaces to gather, reflect, and honor the creativity driving the field forward.
The Summit kicks off with a celebration on Wednesday evening at the Rubell Museum (5:30–7:00 PM). This gathering will set the tone for the days ahead with community, conversation, and the announcement of student scholarships sponsored by SNL Displays. It’s an evening to connect with colleagues and celebrate the future of public art.
On Friday afternoon at the Fichlander Stage (2:45–3:45 PM), the Summit community comes together again for the always joyful CODAawards Ceremony. This program honors the visionary artists and teams behind this year’s award-winning projects—works that embody the best of collaboration and placemaking.
Both celebrations highlight what makes CODAsummit unique: a community dedicated to creativity, connection, and the power of public art. We look forward to celebrating with you in Washington, D.C.
