With audiences worldwide seeking out engaging experiences that invite exploration, discovery, and connection, artist-led traveling exhibitions are creating new opportunities for artists to bring their work to new audiences, venues, and destinations. As a leader in experiential entertainment and touring exhibitions, Imagine works directly with artists to transform creative ideas and bodies of work into successful touring experiences.

Imagine is a global leader in immersive storytelling and experiential design, creating, producing and operating world-class exhibitions and attractions through its core services: Exhibitions, Studio, Retail and Operations. With more than 40 unique experiences worldwide, Imagine creates visitor experiences that entertain, educate and inspire.

For artists, that expertise creates an opportunity to take their work to new audiences and destinations through scalable touring experiences while maintaining the authenticity of their creative vision.

“We bring the professional expertise to help take an artist’s work and develop it into an exhibition and an experience that visitors love, while growing the artist’s brand and exposing millions to their artwork. Our professional services, touring expertise, and marketing support allow artists to focus on their artwork and new creations while we create and manage the tour,” says Debbie Donohue, Imagine’s Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Sales.

Founded in 2009, Imagine has worked directly with renowned artists as a trusted creative partner, bringing the expertise and infrastructure to scale their work into sustainable touring experiences.

“As an artist, I am good at making my sculptures, but knowing how to put them in front of the right audience in the right way requires a completely different set of skills,” shares Sean Kenney, a sculptor who uses LEGO bricks to craft exhibitions like Brick Planet, Nature Connects and more. “Imagine brings expertise to our partnership that is critical to making my work stand out: creating the audience experience, working with venues, handling logistics — everything that turns a body of work into something people can connect with. That's the wonderful thing about our partnership… I can focus on my art, and they get it out into the world, each of us playing to our strengths.”

Imagine is also continuing to expand its artist-led portfolio, identifying new opportunities to bring distinctive artists to audiences around the world and into both traditional and unexpected settings.

“There is something incredibly special about permanent public art. A sculpture can become part of the identity of a place,” say Gillie and Marc Schattner of Gillie and Marc, a British and Australian collaborative artist couple known for their animal, human-animal hybrid and abstract sculptures. The artists are currently working with Imagine on GO WILD: *An Immersive Animal Adventure*. “A touring exhibition has a completely different kind of magic. The artwork itself becomes the traveller. That is one of the things that excites us most about working with Imagine on GO WILD. Every place it visits will bring something different to the experience. We love the idea that GO WILD can arrive in a new city or country and begin a completely new conversation.”

Developing a successful traveling art exhibition requires a balance of market appeal, travelability, audience engagement, and the right fit between the artwork and the environments where it will be experienced.

“Ultimately, we're looking for that intersection between an artist with broad appeal, a concept that can create a compelling visitor experience, and venues where the work feels like it naturally belongs,” says Donohue. “The goal is to develop an experience that can travel efficiently, adapt to a variety of venues, and continue reaching new audiences over the long term.”

Could your work become a touring exhibition? Imagine is actively seeking artists and creative concepts with the potential to reach audiences around the world. To start a conversation, contact [sales@theimagineteam.com](mailto:sales@theimagineteam.com).
