Daily tous les jours Debuts New Podcast,  Strangers Need Strange Moments Together

If you've ever paused in a public square because something unexpected made you smile — or found yourself suddenly talking to a stranger because of a shared experience — you already understand the spirit behind Strangers Need Strange Moments Together, the new podcast from Montreal-based public art studio Daily Tous les Jours.

Hosted by Daily co-founders Melissa Mongiat and Mouna Andraos, the podcast takes its name from the studio's book of the same title and picks up where it left off: exploring the playful, poetic, and often surprising ways that creative intervention can transform how we connect in cities. Each episode brings in leading voices from design, art, urbanism, and architecture to examine how creative gestures — large and small — can re-enchant urban life and help us imagine futures worth looking forward to.

The debut episode, A Manifesto, opens with a candid conversation between Mouna and Melissa about the ideas at the heart of their practice — including a compelling argument that enchanted public moments can function as a form of resistance. It's an intimate and thought-provoking start to what promises to be an essential series.

For CODAzine readers, this is a natural listen. The conversations sit squarely at the intersection of public art, placemaking, and civic imagination; territory Daily Tous les Jours has been navigating with distinction for years. Not to mention the studio has been a steady contributor to both CODAreview and CODAzine: click here to read our interview with them on the publication of their book.

Strangers Need Strange Moments Together is available now on all major podcast platforms.
