CODAworx is pleased to announce that New Mexico Arts, the state arts agency for New Mexico, will serve as the Host Sponsor for this year’s CODAsummit, taking place September 29 – October 1 in Santa Fe. The partnership underscores New Mexico’s long-standing leadership in public art and its commitment to creative placemaking, cultural vitality, and artist support.

Representing New Mexico Arts is Meredith Doborski, Public Art Program Director, who will also lead the CODAsummit Host Committee. Doborski brings deep expertise in commissioning, stewardship, and policy, and her leadership will help shape a Summit experience grounded in place, collaboration, and impact.

New Mexico Arts administers the state’s Art in Public Places (AIPP) Program, one of the oldest and most respected public art programs in the United States. Established in 1978, the program dedicates a portion of capital outlay funds for the commissioning of artworks across state agencies, higher education institutions, and public facilities. The AIPP Program has resulted in a diverse, statewide collection that reflects New Mexico’s rich cultural heritage while supporting artists at all career stages.

With Santa Fe’s vibrant arts ecosystem as its backdrop, CODAsummit 2026 promises meaningful dialogue at the intersection of art, place, and public life.
