The people you'll meet at CODAsummit!

This week we're excited to share brief spotlights of some of the creative professionals who are attending this year's CODAsummit. Take a moment to learn more about these individuals and explore their recent work. If you haven’t registered for CODAsummit yet, join us in Santa Fe and connect with them in person!

Anne Labovitz

I create immersive installations and public artworks that activate space through color and material experimentation, responding directly to the surrounding architecture. My practice invites people to slow down, participate, and connect to something larger than themselves—transforming shared environments into places of reflection and belonging.

Each monumental work is designed to be visually luminous and emotionally resonant, engaging spatial relationships and human presence to foster visual optimism and a sense of awe.

Landmarks, the public art program of The University of Texas at Austin, announces Floating Landscape, a major new commission by Maya Lin. The artist's first public work in Texas features a 3,600 square-foot sculpture set within a restored native meadow that integrates art, architecture, and ecological design. Opening April 2027.

Inspired by the freshwater mussel, Indiana's most endangered group of species, Pearl of the Wabash emerged through community workshops and environmental partnerships. The sculpture transforms years of citizen-collected river data into evolving light, creating a civic landmark that connects people to the Wabash through shared stewardship and placemaking.
