Manage & Review Applicants
Monitor incoming applications, review artist materials, and prepare your applicant pool for the selection process.
Find Your Applicants
To view applications:
- Sign in to CODAworx.
- Open the CODAcommission Dashboard.
- Select the appropriate call.
- Open the Applicants tab.
As applications arrive, use this area to review your applicant pool.

Review Applications
The information available depends on the requirements you selected when creating the call.
An application may include:
- Artist contact information
- Letter of Interest
- Résumé
- Responses to custom questions
- Work samples
- Project information
- Team members
Review applications according to the requirements and evaluation process established for your commission.
Check Eligibility
Before moving applicants into jurying, confirm that they satisfy the minimum requirements for the call.
Examples might include:
- Geographic eligibility
- Required professional experience
- Complete application materials
- Required project qualifications
- Other criteria stated in the call
Custom screening questions available through the Toolkit can also help you evaluate requirements specific to your project.
Archive Applicants
If an application shouldn't continue to the jury process:
- Open the Applicants tab.
- Locate the applicant.
- Use the available option to archive the application.
Archived applications will not appear in jury rounds.
Use this carefully and consistently according to your organization's selection process.
Prepare for Jurying
Before moving into selection:
- Review the complete applicant pool
- Resolve any eligibility issues
- Archive applications that shouldn't advance
- Confirm the application window has closed
- Determine who will serve on the jury
- Decide how candidates should be evaluated
Toolkit jury tools are available for commissioners using the applicable CODAworx Toolkit. The standard free application does not include round-based jury voting.
